Passing with Caution Saves Lives
When driving on a two-lane highway, only pass when it’s absolutely safe and legal to do so. Before you attempt to pass another vehicle:

✅ Check for a clear passing zone – never cross a solid yellow line.
✅ Ensure you have enough distance to safely pass and return to your lane.
✅ Never pass on curves, hills, or in poor visibility conditions.
✅ Signal your intent and check your mirrors and blind spots.
✅ Be mindful of oncoming traffic – speeds can be deceptive.

One of the best ways to prevent lane-change accidents is to reduce the number of lane changes you make. Staying in one lane as much as possible decreases the chances of an incident, especially in heavy traffic.
Remember: A few seconds of patience is better than a lifetime of regret.
Drive smart. Pass safe. Stay alive.
