- Slow Down & Stay Alert: Whether you’re walking or driving, reduce your speed and stay alert for slippery spots.
- Wear Proper Footwear: Make sure to wear boots with good traction to prevent slipping.
- Use Handrails & Walk Carefully: When navigating stairs or walkways, use handrails and take slow, deliberate steps.
- Look for Hazard Signs: Be on the lookout for areas marked with caution signs indicating slippery conditions.
- Report Hazards: If you spot any particularly icy areas, report them immediately to management for prompt treatment

• Keep all vehicle lights in good working order to avoid collisions
• High beams can reflect off precipitation and hinder visibility. Keep headlights clean to reduce glare and improve visibility.
